The bags are packed, the goggles are snapped, and the focus is locked in. Our Blair Regional YMCA Tigersharks are officially headed to West Virginia University this weekend for the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐬𝐲𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚 𝐘𝐌𝐂𝐀 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩!
These athletes have spent countless early mornings and late nights in the pool, pushing through every lap to reach this moment. Now, it’s time to let that training take over.

It's officially that time of year...Register to play in our 𝔹ℝ𝕐 𝕋-𝔹𝕒𝕝𝕝 ℙ𝕣𝕠𝕘𝕣𝕒𝕞!
𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐓-𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐄
T-Ball is a sport designed to introduce kids to the basics of learning how to throw, catch, and bat in a fun team atmosphere. Participants get active while learning useful sports skills and making friends. This is a co-ed program and everyone gets to bat and field. T-Ball league play is designed to be appropriate for 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝟒-7.
Our League is divided into 2 Divisions: 𝔽𝕚𝕣𝕤𝕥 𝕋𝕚𝕞𝕖𝕣𝕤(Tennis Balls, Fat Plastic Bats, and Grass Fields) and ℂ𝕒𝕔𝕥𝕦𝕤(Soft-Core Baseballs, Skinny Plastic Bats, and Baseball Field). It is up to the discretion of the parent/guardian to choose the division.

If you’ve ever walked through the halls of our Early Learning Center, you’ve seen the results of Mr. Chuck’s work—even if you didn’t always see him.
But at the Y, maintenance is about more than just fixing things. It’s about care. Chuck’s dedication wasn't loud or flashy; it was found in the way he anticipated a need before it arose and the way he looked out for our staff and students like they were his own family.
Chuck, thank you for your years of quiet dedication, your steady hands, and your kind heart. We wish you nothing but relaxation and joy in this next chapter. You’ve certainly earned it! You made our ELC a better place every single day.

This is an 𝙄𝙉𝙎𝙏𝙍𝙐𝘾𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝘼𝙇, co-ed program that is perfectly designed to introduce your 4-6 year old child to baseball. We will focus on the following core skills: hitting, fielding, throwing, and base-running.
